This 1993 KME on a International chassis was Groton Townships first new piece of equipment replacing our first pumper which was an 1958 Pirsch leased from Perkins Township. This is our front line pumper which has a 1250 gpm pump with 1,000 poly tank. Also includes four MSA SCBAs, 5 KW Generator to provide on-scene lighting, 500 gpm portable pump, ventilation fans and the full compliment of NFPA required equipment for a pumper. 721, like all equipment was acquired with a fire levy supported by the citizens of Groton Township.
