The Groton Township Fire
Department Association is comprised of the active members of the Fire Department.
Our purpose is to support the activities of our members by providing fellowship and
raising funds to support member orientated initiatives that are consistent with the
operations of our department. Our first major endeavor is to raise sufficient funds in order to purchase Class A uniforms for all of our active members. Since the inception of this goal, we have raised monies by winning the Firefighter Chilli Cook-off in Winter of 2001. Since the initial Chilli Cook-off, the department has taken a top three place since it's inception. This past Winter (November 2004) we took 2nd place honors. We would like to thank K96 for hosting this annual event. |
