Groton Township Fire Department Recruiting Guidelines

  Candidates shall meet the following requirements:

• Be a resident of Groton Township or Oxford Township (limited to the area covered by GTFD)

• Be a High School Graduate and at least 18 years of age

• Have a valid Ohio Drivers License / Insurance / M.V.R. Report

• Able to attain Ohio Firefighters Level 1 Firefighting and First Responder Certifications

• Able to pass physical to meet SCBA requirements

• Able to pass background check

• Willing and able to commit to the service of Groton Township

 

Any interested candidates can attend one of our Training or Work sessions held on the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th Tuesday of each month at 18:30 hours.  You can also email  Chief Jett.
